What you learn, week by week
Weeks 1-2 — Scope and design
- Cut the brief to something shippable in eight weeks
- Write the design doc
- Defend the scope before building
Weeks 3-6 — Build and review
- Ship weekly against a plan
- Take and act on code review
- Instrument as you build, not after
Week 7 — Evaluation and hardening
- Build the evaluation suite
- Red-team your own system
- Fix what you find
Week 8 — Defence
- Present architecture and trade-offs to a panel
- Answer for your failure data
- Publish the artifact
How this program handles evaluation and governance
Week 7 is non-negotiable: no capstone is defended without an evaluation suite and a red-team pass against it. The panel asks what breaks before it asks what works, which is the same order a serious reviewer will use for the rest of your career.

Is the internship guaranteed?
No. Strong capstones lead to introductions where there is a genuine fit. We do not promise placement.
Can I use my employer's problem?
Yes, with their written permission and a scope we agree in advance.
What if my project fails?
A documented failure with honest analysis passes. An undocumented success does not.
